Stanfield implements its investment strategies through structured funds and managed accounts. This is not intended to be a complete description of our strategies. For more detailed information, contact us.

Stanfield Capital Partners seeks to construct well-diversified loan portfolios balancing the pursuit of high returns with the credit risk associated with the individual obligor and transaction. Stanfield implements a disciplined investment process for senior secured and high yield fixed income investing. The credit process typically begins with a study of the industry in which the subject company operates by the designated Stanfield analyst focusing on the subject company's specific strengths and weaknesses and competition/barriers to entry in light of overall industry fundamentals. Stanfield further evaluates the company based on, among other things, its ability to produce sustainable cash flow, the value to the company's assets and the capabilities of the management team. Stanfield also examines the specific financing transaction. Among the key determinants of this part of the process are the composition of the capital structure, valuation of the collateral, analysis of the covenant package and market liquidity. Stanfield may also consider the relative value of the investment in light of others than currently available in the market. Typically, a senior investment team meets regularly to review and implement investment policy and strategy. The team may meet more or less frequently as needed.
